To make the most of your machine, you are highly encouraged to make an appointment for our long arm training program (see details for options below). We invite you to join us and take the next step in your quilting adventure!
This training is for learning how to use your machine and is not a free-motion quilting class.
We only have support for the following brands:

- Bernina
- Janome
- Grace Company (no automation)

2-Hour Longarm Training (In-Person or Virtual) - $149
This comprehensive two-hour training session is designed for those looking to deepen their understanding of longarm quilting. During the training, you will learn how to set up the longarm machine, operate it effectively, and practice on a quilt sandwich, providing you with essential hands-on experience. This option is more detailed than the one-hour training and is suitable for both in-person and virtual appointments. You can select the longarm brand you wish to learn about, allowing for a tailored experience based on your equipment and preferences.
1-Hour Longarm Training (FREE for Machine Purchases at Meissner) - $75
Whether you are new to longarm quilting or need a refresher, this one-hour training session covers the fundamentals of machine setup and the basic principles of operation. This training is available for both in-person and virtual sessions, giving you flexibility in how you attend. If you have purchased a longarm machine from Meissner, this training is offered free of charge. Participants can choose the longarm brand they want to learn about, making it easier to get started with the equipment they will be using.
